ESTATE ULTRA BAR - 1177 N Elston Ave
Come one, come all! The Chicago Moishe Houses are joining forces for the third year to bring you the Purim Party of the year! Join us on Wednesday March 20th at Estate Ultra Bar for a costume party of biblical proportion. Food & Hamentashen will be provided along with music, drinks, costume contest, and reading from the book of Esther!
What is Purim?
Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, who was planning to kill all the Jews. This took place in the ancient Achaemenid Persian Empire. The story is recorded in the Biblical Book of Esther.
Centrally located in the great City of Chicago, ESTATE is minutes away from bustling neighbourhoods River North, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Bucktown and the West Loop. The venue is easily accessible off the Division Street exit of I-90/94 and is on a unique strip of Elston Avenue that features free street parking, bike lanes and is adjacent to the Chicago River.
The interior of ESTATE is divided into themed rooms – the Atruim, Front Room, Trophy Room, Dining Room + Living Room- available for catching the game and private parties. In July 2012, ESTATE opened the “StarDeck”, Chicago’s largest open air rooftop restaurant & lounge sprawling over 4000 square feet with Vegas-style furniture & decor, a custom made European sound system and breathtaking view of the City’s skyline.
